I think this book was good， but there are definitely better Dr。 Seuss books。 This book， I think is good for children who are learning how to put words into sentences and how to pronounce words and obviously to teach kids what words rhyme with each other。 This is personally not one of my favorite Dr。 Suess books。

This book is one of the more fun books that Dr。 Seuss worked on， because it mixes weird rhymes with nonsense poetry to provide something a little bit different。 It stood out to me as being one of the more fun ones， mostly ‘cause it’s super random。

Foolish fun that hides some useful lessons on ordering， prepositions， pronouns， rhyme and much more。 The vignettes that comprise the book don’t hang together to make much of a narrative， and the artwork isn’t what you’d expect compared to Seuss’ later Lorax years， but the book is a winner with the early toddler set。 Mine in particular loves yelling “get out my tent bear！” - read it to discover what he’s “referencing。”
